RIOT SHIELD

Composition:
Injection moulded polycarbonate, 4 mm thick, clear;
polyurethane foam shock absorbing pad;
50 mm webbing with Velcro and single-piece, rubber coated handle

Penetration: Aluminium projectile (254 grams with an  impact surface of 750 mm2) at 2 bar air pressure
Impact resistance: Impact of a 5 kgs. spherical anvil from 3 meters
Fire resistance: UNI 7154 7.7.
Bunsen burner at a distance of 2 cm. from shield
Retention system resistance:UNI 7417-75 - Preload 15 kg., dynamic load 10 kg. from 750 mm.
Chemical resistance:25 ml. Of gasoline and most common acid and base solutions (80%  conc.) on shield for a time of 3 min.
Tests made at ambient (25.0C), high (+50.0) and low (-20.0C) temperatures with a minimum conditioning time of 4 hours. Developed and manufactured according with S.T. 42/7/1
